Fluoroethylene vinyl ether (FEVE) resins were developed in Japan in the early 1980’s. It is second-generation fluoropolymer coating with a similar level of durability, weatherability , adhesive force, flexibility, and color and gloss retention as PVDF coatings. The main differences between these two exterior coating technologies is that PVDF resin based coating has a limitation on the maximum gloss, it can achieve of 20%-40%, FEVE coatings on the other hand, can achieve a wider gloss range 20%-80%. The primary applications for panels sheets coated with FEVE resins are for architectural and outdoor signage, where high gloss and durability are requested.

Nano PVDF Panels uses a new and exciting technology to change the molecular structure of the surface of the paint. This improves and enhances the paint coating by giving it a longer color and gloss retention. It is applied as a 4th layer of coating over and above the 3rd layer of PVDF coating. AluEastbond PVDF aluminum composite panel is exclusively made for exterior wall cladding, its excellent property comes from the front coating and its outstanding durability, it applies PVDF kynar 500 coating which is painted through the continuing roller coating system and the multiple layers are individually stoved at 220-260℃, the two cover sheets sandwich the same mineral core of polyethylene which is Hardly inflammable.

PVDF coating, made of fluorine carbon resin, is solidified to dry film with super weather resistance. We have normal PVDF and NANO PVDF coatings. Normal PVDF coating, certified as KYNAR 500, is made of 2-3 time coating and baking, has good properties of anti-acid, Anti-alkali, is durable in atrocious weather and environment. Warranty could reach to 15 years for exterior use. NANO PVDF coating, with self-cleaning NANO meter paint on the normal PVDF coating, is used to protect the surface from pollution, dust or dirty rains. AluEastbond FR (Fire resist) ACP comprises a mineral core between two aluminum skins. Thicknesses of the mineral core and aluminum skins can be designed according to customers’ requirements.  The front surface can be PVDF, FEVE, Nano or PE coated. The bottom surface can be used anti-corrosive paint.

The interlayer is non-combustible mineral material, which has excellent ability in fire resistance. Also, mineral material enables ACP to have high peel strength and excellent impact resistance.

The invention of AluEastbond FR has significant meaning because nowadays many applications requires materials with higher fire security classification with certified standards, therefore AluEastbond FR panel fulfills the basic demand of fire safety requirement and meanwhile with beauty for those applications.
